  • SummaryDevelopment Services is seeking proposals from experienced multi-disciplinary land use planning firms to create a new state-of-the-art Zoning Ordinance, corresponding Zoning Map, and Subdivision Regulations (collectively “Code”), that implements the Yavapai County’s 2032 Comprehensive Plan Update (“Comprehensive Plan”) for the unincorporated areas of Yavapai County.

Partially updated in 2023 and 2012 respectively, the existing Code needs a comprehensive audit and rewrite to be completed in phases over a three-year period. The new Code shall be in compliance with State and Federal statutes, prevailing caselaw, and be substantially consistent with the Comprehensive Plan, and established principles of smart growth and overall economic sustainability

A pre-proposal conference will be held on October 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM, Arizona Time. It is highly recommended that all proposers attend.
