Subdivision Sanitary Facilities

Yavapai County has delegation from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) to implement the Subdivision Certificate of Sanitary Facilities approval process including extensions of water and sewer lines.

When projects are received by the Development Services-Environmental Unit they will be reviewed for completeness, payment processed, and sent to a contracted review engineer for the technical review to determine conformance with ADEQ adopted rules. It can be expected that it will take 4 weeks from initial intake to first review results returned to the design engineer. The project applicant will be responsible for the review fees which must be paid before a licensing decision is made.
