2024 Free Slash Drop-Off Program

The Free Slash Drop-Off program is open to all Yavapai County residents to dispose of yard waste at no charge.  Now is a great time to create defensible space around your home, reducing fire fuels.

Where: The following County Transfer Stations: Black Canyon City, Camp Verde, Congress, Mayer, Paulden, Seligman, and Skull Valley

When: April 1st through June 1st, 2024 during each transfer station’s normal working hours.

Grass & Leaves

Yard Trimmings

*All Slash must be removed from plastic bags

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED: Roots, cactus, metal, lumber, garbage, stumps

This program is for residential use only, commercial loads will not be accepted.
