Bagdad Transfer Station Wins ADEQ Award

The Bagdad Transfer Station has recently received the Bronze Award from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality's Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program (VESP) for exceeding statutory requirements in the cleanliness and management of the transfer station. This additional designation of "Superior Compliance History" is a three-year recognition awarded to facilities with no violations on record with any environmental regulatory agency within the past three years. Congratulation to the entire Solid Waste Department, particularly Lynn Yargus, the Bagdad Attendant.
