The scope of work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for the placement of a rubberized chip seal and a fog seal coat on Old Highway 66 between Pica Camp Road and I-40 Crookton Road interchange in Yavapai County. The project length is 176,327 feet (33.4 Miles) with an approximately 639,434 square yards of roadway surface receiving the rubberized chip seal. In addition, 3 feet wide CRS-2P chip seal strips shall be placed over prepared milling shoulders prior to the installation of rubberized chip seal coat between Seligman and I-40 Crookton Road interchange, with a total 60,705 square yards of CRS-2P chip seal estimated. Other associated work includes re-establishing all pavement markings and the removal and replacement of 6,501 feet existing guardrail. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents.
There has been a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2024, hosted by Yavapai County Public Works through an online virtual meeting portal. Detailed meeting instructions will be included in the contract documents. Any questions or concerns about the project will be addressed at that time.
