Board of Adjustments and Appeals

Authority: A.R.S. § 11-816 and by amendment to Section 207 of the Planning and Zoning Ordinance.

Membership: five members, one from each Supervisorial District.

Term of office: four years, staggered terms.

General Duties: Interpret the Planning and Zoning Ordinance as needed; considers requests for variance to the Planning and Zoning Ordinance; and considers appeals arising from disputes over interpretation of the Ordinance.

Meets: The Board meets once a month if there is a variance or an appeal at 1015 Fair Street, Prescott, AZ, 86305, or 10 South 6th Street, Cottonwood, AZ, 86326, as posted.
