The Yavapai County Flood Control District invites qualified persons/firms to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide professional engineering services for the Middle Verde Green Stormwater Infrastructure Feasibility and Design Study. The feasibility and design study is largely being funded by an Arizona Department of Environmental Quality Water Quality Planning Grant 604(b). All portions of work must comply with the grant application. The general scope of professional engineering services includes the preparation of a Feasibility and Design report for the Middle Verde region. The tasks include:
- Identify appropriate locations for green stormwater infrastructure based on recharge potential, land ownership, and other factors.
- Identify potential sites via prioritization matrix.
- Develop conceptual designs for green stormwater infrastructure for top three priority sites.
- Develop an implementation plan 1 of 3 selected priority sites including 30% designs, a project timeline and engineer's opinion of probable cost.
