New Yavapai County Clerk of the Board

At the regular Yavapai County Board of Supervisors meeting on 1/3/2024 the board voted unanimously to accept the County Manager’s recommendation to appoint Jayme Rush as the new Yavapai County Clerk of the Board. 

Yavapai County Manager Maury Thompson told the Board, “I have been extremely impressed from day one with Jayme, her abilities, and her professionalism. We “tested the market,” if you will by posting this position, we interviewed other qualified applicants for this job, and I am pleased to be here this morning letting you know that we have the best person for this job right here in our office.”  The motion was seconded by Supervisor Donna Michaels.

Jayme Rush said, “I would like to thank the Board, the County Manager and Assistant Manager.  I am honored to be appointed to the position of Clerk of the Board and grateful for the opportunity to continue to work with all of you, the staff, and the citizens of Yavapai County.”

Jayme has been with the County since 2011 and held the position of Deputy Clerk of the Board since January 2017.
