Rubberized Chip Seal and Overlay

Please be advised that Earth Resources Corporation in conjunction with Yavapai County will be performing asphalt overlay and rubberized chip seal work on Central Ave and Main Street in Mayer, as well as chip seal work on Stagecoach Trail in Cordes Lakes.

Construction will begin September 22, 2025, and continue through October 30, 2025. Road construction will consist of a rubberized chip seal on the full length of the road and an asphalt overlay on sections of Main Street and Central Ave. Other work includes shoulder work, and new striping. Work will be completed from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday.

One lane of traffic will remain open at all times; however, motorists may encounter lane restrictions, reduced speeds, and flagging operations throughout the work zones. Motorists should expect minor delays and allow extra time to get through the construction area. Please follow all traffic control devices when travelling through the work zone.
