Dewey Humboldt ADMS
The Yavapai County Flood Control District (YCFCD) is conducting an Area Drainage Master Study (ADMS) for the Town of Dewey Humboldt. To carry out this project, YCFCD has partnered with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for professional engineering services, encompassing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, assessment of existing drainage structures, and identification of potential mitigation strategies with prioritized rankings. The study’s primary aim is to select the top three drainage projects and prepare preliminary 30% design plans along with cost estimates.
Community participation is essential to the success of this project. A public meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dewey-Humboldt Council Chambers. Come share your thoughts, connect with neighbors, and help shape drainage solutions for your community. Details about the meeting, along with a drainage survey aimed at addressing local flooding concerns, can be found in Community Meeting Notice #1 below. Your input matters—if your property has experienced flood-related damage, please share your feedback so we can prioritize effective solutions.
