Hearing for Proposed New Transfer Station Fees

The public is hereby notified that the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing regarding proposed new transfer station fees on August 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the Yavapai County Administrative Services Building, 1015 Fair Street, Prescott, AZ. The Proposed Fees have been published on the main Yavapai County page, at the Transfer Stations, and in the newspaper.

Yavapai County Public Works is proposing fee updates for the Solid Waste Division.  Current fees cover approximately 45% of Solid Waste transfer station costs and have been in place for over 20 years.  The new fees will help cover rising expenses and increased workload due to Yavapai County’s growth.

The attached New Fees Flyer displaying current fees and the proposed new fees has been posted at all Yavapai County Transfer Stations.
