Final day of striping of new Cornville and Tissaw roundabout scheduled for Sept. 22

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises Verde Sante Fe community members and Cornville area drivers to plan for lane restrictions on Tissaw and Cornville roads on Tuesday, Sept. 22 for the final day of striping.

  • Striping of Tissaw Road, Cornville Road and the new roundabout will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22.
  • Flaggers will move drivers through the work zone.
  • Law enforcement will be onsite during final striping.
  • Drivers should expect slowing on Cornville Road and minor delays on Tissaw Road.
  • The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.

New and additional signage will be installed on Friday, Sept. 25, which will not require any lane restrictions or traffic control.

Dates and times subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
