2024 Golden Plate Awards

YAVAPAI COUNTY, Arizona. –  Yavapai County is proud to announce the 2024 Golden Plate Award winners, recognizing 253 food establishments that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to food safety throughout the year. These establishments have gone above and beyond in their food safety endeavors. The Golden Plate Award is presented to food establishments that meet rigorous criteria, demonstrating their dedication to safe food handling practices. This year's awards are divided into two categories: Moderate Risk Factor and Complex Risk Factor establishments, reflecting the diverse range of food service operations in Yavapai County. The public is invited to attend these presentations and celebrate the accomplishments of these exemplary food establishments.

To receive this award, a food establishment must meet three criteria:

  1. Operate throughout the entire calendar year 2024 without a cited priority or priority foundation food handling violation.
  2. Have an approved and implemented food safety plan.
  3. Have a person-in-charge with an accepted and current manager-level food safety certificate throughout the year.

The 2024 Golden Plate Awards will be officially presented at two upcoming Yavapai County Board of Supervisors meetings:

  • Prescott Presentation: March 5, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., BOS Hearing Room, 1st floor, 1015 Fair Street.
  • Cottonwood Presentation: March 19, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., BOS Hearing Room, 1st floor, 10 South 6th St.
