Child Safety Helmet Recall

The recalled children’s and youth helmets violate the mandatory safety standard for bicycle helmets. Particularly, the helmets do not comply with the positional stability and coverage requirements.

Measles Case Reported in Yavapai County

One confirmed case of measles has been reported in Yavapai County. Yavapai County Community Health Services (YCCHS) is actively conducting disease surveillance and has identified five public locations where people may have been exposed to measles as a result of these cases.

YCCHS Community Update June 23rd, 2023

The Yavapai County Community Health Services team coordinated with health services support to support the Arizona Sonshine (AZSS) community health event. This is an initiative of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. YCCHS collaborated with Northland Cares and the Community Health Center of Yavapai (CHCY) to support the event.

YCCHS Community Update April 28th, 2023

Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) are pleased to announce they have reached a new network agreement. This agreement is effective April 1, 2023, and therefore all services from that date will be handled as in network.
