Project Overview

Please be advised that J. Banicki Construction, Inc.,  in conjunction with Yavapai County, will be performing epoxy chip seal and spall repair operations on four bridge decks in Yavapai County.  Oak Creek Bridge on Cornville Road in Cornville; Lynx Creek Bridge on Old Black Canyon Highway in Prescott; and two bridges on Antelope Creek Road, Hackberry Creek and Antelope Creek in Cordes.

Construction will begin August 24, 2026, continuing through October 15, 2026. Road construction will consist of spall repair of all the existing bridge decks and the application of an epoxy chip seal friction course on three of the bridges. 

One lane of traffic will remain open at all times; however, motorists may encounter lane restrictions, lane shifts, reduced speeds, and flagging operations throughout the work zones. Motorists should expect minor delays and allow extra time to get through the construction area. Please follow all traffic control devices when travelling through the work zone.
