2025 Property Taxes Available

2025 property taxes are live on our website! Amounts can be viewed and paid starting today by clicking the green link above that reads "PAY OR VIEW YOUR PROPERTY TAX BILL".

We are currently working to get this information printed and mailed to all property owners. Those physical bills can be expected to arrive in mailboxes within the next 2 -3 weeks

CARD FEE UPDATE

IMPORTANT- As of August 25th, 2025, convenience fees will be updated for the 2025 Tax year:
Debit Card – 1% (minimum $1.25)
Credit Card – 2.19% (minimum $1.25)
E- Check - .40 cents

All Staff Training with Health Dept

On May 7, 2025, the Treasures' office held an all-staff training session led by Carol L. and Jolie D. from the Health Department. This training focused on identifying our 'True Colors' to enhance effective communication and build healthy, productive relationships. Each color represents a distinct personality type. The True Colors framework will help improve our communication skills and teamwork.

Over the Counter Lien Purchases Open March 3rd

2025 Tax Lien Auction Closed

IMPORTANT: The 2025 Tax Lien Auction is now closed for prospective investors. While the auction has concluded, it takes approximately two weeks for auction results to be reflected in our system.
Tax lien certificates that did not receive a bid during the auction will be available for purchase as “over the counter” liens on March 3rd.

Now Open - 2025 Tax Lien Auction

Note that deposits for investor bidding will be due February 3, 2025, 2:00pm MST, with the auction being finalized on February 11, 2025, 4:00pm MST. 2024 Property Tax Bills Mailed

As of September 30, 2024, all 2024 property tax bills have been mailed out by USPS. If you have not received them, please keep an eye out for them arriving soon.
The first half taxes are delinquent after 5pm on November 1, 2024. The second half taxes are delinquent after 5pm on May 1, 2025.
You may also pay one full year payment with no charged interest by December 31, 2024.

2023 Second Half Reminder Postcards

The Yavapai County Treasurer's Office has mailed their 2023 second half property tax reminder postcards. Property owners with unpaid 2023 second half balances as of 3/20/2024 should expect to receive this reminder in the next few days.

2023 second half taxes are due no later than 5pm on May 1, 2024. Please visit https://taxinquiry.yavapaiaz.gov/ to verify your balance due or make a payment.

Wickenburg & Sedona-Oak Creek 2023 Tax Notices

Yavapai County has been notified that the Arizona Department of Revenue provided inaccurate ‘State Aid to Education’ tax reduction rates for Wickenburg School District and Sedona-Oak Creek School District. Primary residence tax bills in those areas have been recalculated, resulting in reduced 2023 tax amounts due.
