Public Information Meetings - Proposed Runway Safety Area and Taxiway Improvements at Sedona Airport
Yavapai County, as Airport Sponsor of the Sedona Airport, is considering a multi-phased safety enhancement project at Sedona Airport. Paulden Community Cleanup
The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, working with the Public Works Department, is pleased to announce a community cleanup in Paulden. The cleanup will be at the Paulden Transfer Station, 23750 N. Marblehead Avenue. Mayer Community Cleanup
The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, working with the Public Works Department, is pleased to announce a community cleanup in Mayer. The cleanup will be at the Mayer Yard (next to the Mayer Transfer Station). 11130 S. Antelope Creek Rd., ¼ mile south of Mayer. Annual Free Slash Program

Camp Verde Transfer Station Wins ADEQ Award
The Camp Verde Transfer Station has recently received the Bronze Award from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality's Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program (VESP) for exceeding statutory requirements in the cleanliness and management of the transfer station. This additional designation of "Superior Compliance History" is a three-year recognition awarded to facilities with no violations on record with any environmental regulatory agency within the past three years. Congratulation to the entire Solid Waste Department, particularly Jay Scott, the Camp Verde Attendant.

Paulden Transfer Station Wins ADEQ Award
The Paulden Transfer Station recently received the Bronze Award from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality's Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program (VESP) for exceeding statutory requirements in the cleanliness and management of the transfer station. Paulden has the highest traffic volume of all the County transfer stations, with 23,914 vehicles (including the community cleanup) using the station this fiscal year. Congratulation to the entire Solid Waste Department, particularly Brian Eden and Eric Snow, the Paulden Attendants.
